We made our pots to catch
God’s Sunshine
with life’s fleeting currants
the heart’s desire is to dance
Drifting in semi straight lines
Maybe we’d crash
maybe we’ll fly
yet dashing through each frame
gazing straight into the sun
(free google image)
Sunshine in my heart
Hope in my spirit
Love in my view
Faith in my walk
Kindness in my hands
She is me.
Hidden by gravity, grasping any sign of life.
Coming home to the dust of the earth.
A place of longing, to be loved.
Too quick
for slowing
down
My,
My, My
blowing wet smoke
burying these shiftless chords
adding up the dead,
Forgive us
Our transgressions
are multiplying
Forgive us.
Smile girl but not too hard
Speak up but not too loud
Shuffle long ,shuffle long’
chile- now I see
You have no eyes like me
You have no hair like mine
Your human qualities so undefined
quit trying,shufflin-
on my neck
Hold still
Let me be…
