Okay I’ve been off the scene for a while. Some days, writing doesn’t come easy. And I’m learning from my failures.

I’m embracing the true art of falling. The art of getting back up, to try again. And when that fails, try again.Β

There’s art here: when I can laugh at myself. For my mistakes. When I can see the rejection letters from my writing. It’s not -rejection of me, its recognition of the areas of progress, places where I am striving.Β

So I’m dusting myself off. Listening to the the spin cycle, the sounds of running water, breaking away from the old.

Embracing the falls,

the spins, every

bit of the journey.  your Poet Krissy Mosley

I have enough rejection slips to paper my walls and the memory of pain with them and stopping and starting and self-doubting and self-hugging. And I know that when I read your words, sky opens and there is nothing that can tug them down from flying. Bless your pauses and your days of energy!

I was away for a while too Krissy and find that everyone just welcomes you back warmly, no questions asked. :) In a book I read when I was a teen, there was this line that’s stuck with me: Sometimes is a matter of falling down with or without Jesus. That may not be relevant to the falling you mention in your post, but that’s what your post made me think of.

I like the Bell Hooks quote you selected for your most recent post. Very true. If your heart doesn’t become bigger outwardly as well as inwardly on your spiritual journey, something’s wrong.

    Peace to your heart!

Jesus reaching out to you through me! God always works with us where we’re at, helping us course-correct from there. I believe nothing is wasted, even what we perceive as failings and fallings. It gives me great confidence and hope as I carry on with and through my many failings and fallings. πŸ™‚ Sending love and a hug!
