I will show myself compassion and allow compassion to extend itself to others.

May I feel the power of love surrounding me.

May I feel connected and whole,

May I remember the little things…

    ________________________________________________

I may not tickle ivory as my elders’

my elders can surely make those ivory keys sing

bending wood between joints of their fingers like strings

strings that belong to God this I’m sure

but in the closet of my soul

    I remember my mother’s knees

    closely, compacted  mahogany-copper

bone replaced with steel, firmly planted to hear the voice of God

washing the rags of her eyes

    her eyes on God

keeping her posture on the threshing floors

fleshing out tears as white as snow

I remember the simmering rain, of prayers

with utterances that kept us warm

utterances in key where prayers go

when they are tattered and worn

prayers that give us new names

that we are not who we used to be

and prayers that affirm our higher calling,

  • God Holds Our Bones Together: Audio added

    February 24th, 2021

Prayer Poem by the author of this blog

to the God that holds our bones together, holds sanctuary in the soul,
while we are at times are broken, troubled waters, wells have run dry

    Hear our prayers O God…
allow us to put aside our pride allow this very prayer to suffice God you are my only  devotion you are our ultimate supply

must tell Jesus,  when the pounding ache, of our lives becomes too much, when the loneliness, of our prayers spill out

We dare not bear these burdens alone

God bottled up precious tears for angels to touch

you shut up the mouths of darkness, you bring hatred to its’ knees, you catch us even when we fall,

“you are wounded for our transgressions,  bruised for our iniquities: the {h} chastisement for our peace rest upon him; and with his stripes we are made whole”
I must tell Jesus, Jesus alone, gathering the weary, lonely, downcast, down hearted touch all those who are bereaved

God you are our devotion, you are our ultimate peace

    sis, Krissy Mosley

  • Watch My Faith Go To Work: aka Love:

    October 10th, 2020
written and spoken by the author of VisionarieKindness (kindness sister Krissy)

In Between ourselves and the road we must, face o’ God allow our prayers to quake as thunder, allow our tears to hold courage in the face of adversity. Shower down healings’ for the nation. And synchronize our prayers with those who have marched on before us, those who have prayed us through darkest of nights. Where the stairs are torn and floor boards are bare.

We stand in agreement with those “fervent effectual prayers of the righteous” those who press toward the mark of the prize of high calling …
with those that are not ashamed to say the name of Jesus in the morning, say the name of Jesus in the darkness of times

synergize our prayers with faith and work and watch our faith go to work

    in the name of Love,

    kindness sister Krissy

  • Many Meetings’ With Love Poets’

    September 28th, 2020
    Kindness sister Krissy

If ever I should become a Love~ poet of sorts’

and I should answer love’s highest call

to be won like thunder on cloudy days or

quietly sit in God’s terrain, smell the sweet fragrance of prayers drifting by

dripping with desperate pleas’ and why, why why,

but suddenly in the foggy trance of grace.

in the midst and in the haze

there but only love should appear,

to drown out our puddles of gloom and fear,

lead us to a secret place,

change our dirty garments, give us holy names

with no more worry, no more pain

    wrap us in infinite arms…

I’ll say I met the poet’ of poets’

all that God is, and all that love is,

    and all that God is,

    Love…

  • Absorbing Invisibility: aka: Capturing the soul

    January 2nd, 2020

    Smoke in slow motion

quiet eyes soaking in the juices

here we are, in snap shot

mounted, suppressed my spirit into a squirt of a lens

    reconstructing my soul to water

drinking from the wells that never run dry

    walking on the rivers,

smile deeply in the face of adversity,

    my soul makes human

makes me believe, there’s still good left in the world

has me thinking – I am machine trapped in its blood

where I bleed out all the colors of all the other humans

our only desire, let out our souls- out and be free

where I escape to be made in the southern warmth and sunshine

hold back evil of this time,

    the soul of the prophets’

priestess and people drink down a sad song

blood on the trees , blood in our veins

blood and it rains – making our souls

come alive in all its pain, in all its darkness

    damaged and wounded- x-master, x-slave

    x-preacher, x-teacher, x-leader

    x-destination, sooner or later

we gotta let our souls… if only,

    a little while…

    kindness sister Krissy
