  • Human Souls Everywhere: Meditation

    January 14th, 2021

Placing my hands on the only pulse I know

    & this is me

    I stretch this breath,

    slowly & softly

    I drag out my exhale

    nothing else,

    nothing more,

    can compete…

    kindness sis, Krissy

  • What Are We Reading In The New Year? Breaking & Living??

    January 1st, 2021

Finishing up Poisoner in Chief by Stephen Kinzer, this book needs to be taught in public schools. I’m starting Myrlie Evers-Williams “Watch Me Fly” I can’t put this book down…So many books on my to do list~ oh, my,my..☕

This has been a year of all years, to say the least. I’m at a lost for words, and I’m broken with the rest of the world. For the things I can never have back. The sweet phone calls of loved ones on the other end, the comedy of friends in passing. After the death of my mother in April, I believe, that’s where the bottom fell out. Shortly thereafter the sudden death of my neighbor in August. I felt like crying about it wasn’t enough. Praying wasn’t enough. My lamenting seemed to consume all of me at times. I wanted to stop and take notice. I had no choice but to do so ,as my life seemed to take an abbreviated pause in happiness & living.

And even through this, people are losing their homes, their very reason for living.

and yet, I’m encouraged to pick up the pieces, smothered in empathy and affection, I’m here & I’m with you, with the help from the almighty,(Great Spirit) we must carry on…

  • Puddles of Humans: Aka when the ashes speak

    December 21st, 2020

In that of what we are living art transformed, for some of us, the most brutal and teeth cutting existence through the fluidity of colorless liquid of miracles, flowing out of our bodies, blood like water, to watch our souls pounding in cadence, oh’ how, we must sing the Lord’s song in a strange land” ~Krissy Mosley ( art for justice) Black &White

  • Kindness Diary…

    April 10th, 2020

Dear kindness I am super green when it comes to starting a garden. Not in the way, that people with green thumbs grow things. At first I thought I had no inkling of an idea on what to do. However after a few Youtube videos. I felt invincible.

Of course I made a mess. Yes I dropped my entire box. No I really did not plan. Such is my life. Which requires much, much, patience.

I could hear my mother say, as I awoke each morning to check on my little seeds. “In patience posses ye, your soul.” Patience is a virtue.”

Now after the death of a few, who gave their life so that I may learn. Rest easy my little seeds. God knows I’m trying. (moment of silence for seeds)

    Now they are springing out!

For the spring planters out there and homesteaders my hats off to you.

Leave a few tips for me- I’m waiting until the weather settles down a little more because yesterday we had snow. So right now everything growing, is on the windowsill.

Here a few things I’d learned for indoor planting

    • Don’t over water, feel for the level of moisture that lets you know when to water
    • Soak your seeds- it tells them its time to grow (before planting)
    • Some seeds sprout faster, than others
    • if temperature drops use coverings to hold in moisture and create a growing space
    • Patience ,patience, patience

Feel free to leave ideas or encouraging words

p.s. as always from my heart to yours ~kindness sister.
