  • Day 11 #NaPoWriMo : Heaven

    April 11th, 2022

Hasten me to nearest field of flowers Home of the indescribable essence of all that is good and let me roam vividly and wildly- pure untouched by rickety stops of time unbothered, each step ignites me higher the breath of stillness I am nourished by the God strokes of beauty touched warmly by the passions of lilies in the valley held in the soul of the I am, all that God made I am, timelessly-, arrayed wondrously -miraculous….

  • Day 10 #NaPoWriMo : I Know Love

    April 10th, 2022

The love of the poets is a free love

a quest so thirsty, my pen bleeds -love

blue frost is a -growing, as I leak these words across -love

a dash of heart, tickles the golden-sun,

    love is liberation

    love is resistance

love is the long walk home

love is tiny smile, on a tiny friend-child

love has never met a stranger

love is the great God spirit

    love is a holy essence

love is everything and nothing at all

love is you. Poet Krissy Mosley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnZ_Mt_M_Y0

  • Day 9 #NaPoWriMo: Surrender

    April 9th, 2022

my arch enemy is nothing, without the cares of this world

    suffering to suffice,

wondering, does she have the same yearning to be free?

    candid grace to forgive

giving fences just mend, mind over matter

if we should gather sister’s circle

    caress ,pressing pain to purpose

    sage to burning

    stroke gently this yearning

sit, in this body of being

    nothing more than a pause

watch, the rain clouds clap loudly

    undress, their pregnant mantras

    even they, surrender

  • Day6 NaPoWriMO 2022

    April 6th, 2022

Well, today was no different, NaPoWriMo took me for a spin! I had to wad up so many paper balls. Scratch my head again and again. I know I probably was over thinking it. That’s what I do. What can I say, it was complicated enough, geez! Here’s what I came up with. I had a few issues playing the short clip so I just captured the photo. And of you want to hear the poem, click on the link https://www.youtube.com/shorts/QDJ1ZlHSy-k

Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a variation of an acrostic poem. But rather than spelling out a word with the first letters of each line, I’d like you to write a poem that reproduces a phrase with the first words of each line. Perhaps you could write a poem in which the first words of each line, read together, reproduce a treasured line of poetry? You could even try using a newspaper headline or something from a magazine article. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy this prompt.https://www.napowrimo.net/day-six-9/

  • Unfinished Poem of Me

    October 31st, 2021

Through suffering I learn to forgive,

Through faith I learn, to let be

Through the eyes of wisdom, I become stillness

Through hope, I release the power of being reborn

    I am

    I am…..
