Well, today was no different, NaPoWriMo took me for a spin! I had to wad up so many paper balls. Scratch my head again and again. I know I probably was over thinking it. That’s what I do. What can I say, it was complicated enough, geez! Here’s what I came up with. I had a few issues playing the short clip so I just captured the photo. Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a variation of an acrostic poem. But rather than spelling out a word with the first letters of each line, I’d like you to write a poem that reproduces a phrase with the first words of each line. Perhaps you could write a poem in which the first words of each line, read together, reproduce a treasured line of poetry? May the smallest tear drop, fall a thousand miles
to nourish the soul.
Rebuild the bridge of peace ,
finding ourselves returning home as we anchor ourselves down in the still waters of God’s grace and mercy.
We speak the words of Jesus as we abide in the loving arms of grace.
Peace be still. The peace of God, that passes all human understanding. And let this peace began in me. Our prayers are for Ukraine, and for every city and state.
