• Stop running my pinky toe over on my office chair

My voice has joined the heavy cow skins -I can feel the earth. I’ve fought so hard not to fight. And yet this mud is cold. We are sinking and rising until (the earth) has had enough. I was told there are no cures for suffering. Desperate to be good, to be whole, to be found.

I see the ocean, fall –

in all it’s power.

I see tree roots, singing on their knees.

I see great wings soar.

I have seen wisdom, sculpt its cooling winds.

I have drawn baths for little dirty children.

And then I see -bottled prayers, visions

and tears too.♥

Breaking down failures,

Sprouting in faith-

We are tiny miracles.

Over troubled winds –

Thriving through and through,

The sky will lift her sagging breast.

Tidbits of love will pour out – they’ll say it’s rain.

Sparks of laughter will cry and peace will come again.
